We are delighted to publish the curriculum for the GLS VIP Client, In-House Training Program for 2024.
Holistic Skills Training For In-House Legal Teams
GLS’s goal is to take up some of the training and development responsibilities for our VIP clients. It’s that simple - we are part of those teams so we act like it through the provision of a year-long training curriculum that focuses on key skills and improving the career prospects of each in-house lawyer.
We do not need to write any more about the importance that in-house lawyers place on being able to access quality in-house training. Its role in attracting and retaining talent and boosting team performance is well understood.
However, despite the best intentions of many in-house leaders, skills based training is something that can get overlooked by in-house teams or crowded out due to busyness. So GLS ensures that its VIP clients can be 100% confident that they have optimal training & development opportunities for their teams.
GLS makes it easy for our VIP clients to ensure that they can offer the richest available curriculum to their teams. These come in addition to the 14 GLS Masterclass Webinars that GLS will be running through the course of 2024 for the GLS Legal Operations Community.
The GLS In-House VIP Client Training Curriculum
Here is the training lined up for 2024. Sessions will be held on the last Tuesday of each month, at 2pm* (SGT).
*Certain clients will be presented with bespoke training times to accommodate their timezone.
Most sessions will be held online, but twice annually GLS will host half-day on-site sessions to allow for deep dive learning and peer-to-peer collaboration.
How it works:
Let Nicholas Brocklebank (nicholas.brocklebank@gls.global) know which session you are interested in via email and he will share the specific calendar invite with you.
Registered in-house legal teams of GLS’s VIP clients will then receive reminder emails about each upcoming training sessions. All training sessions are free to attend for GLS VIP clients.
Each session will be followed up by supporting materials, in addition to a periodic online refresher quizzes to ensure knowledge acquisition consolidation.
Your in-house team members are free to attend all events but when they cannot attend for any reason - exclusive video playbacks will be made available to them via their GLS Legal Operations Centre Account.
